Where’s the hope for change?

Obama criticizes everyone Republican for the war, a war he has stated that his opposition to has always been “unequivocal.”

Later, he wavers.

Obama told Tim Russert that given the information that members of Congress had at the time, he did not know for sure how he would have voted for the war.

Where’s McCain and his team on this point whenever Obama plays the righteous anti-Bush basher?

Then Obama calls Biden and expert on foreign affairs and makes him a VP candidate.

Biden’s expertise decided that voting for the war was the right thing to do…Biden voted for Bush’s war, but that is ok, he’s Obama’s man and a Democrat.

Obama continues to assail those who voted and supported the war, exept Biden, and those well known names that support Obama.

Like Colin Powell.

Remember how Democrats abused Powell for his role in the start of the war?

Obama does not want us to remember that.

Obama embraces Powell’s endorsement of Obama.

Powell was Bush’s man.

Obama’s yellow hypocrisy grows bigger than his ears each and every day.

Total taxes, per capita, paid by IL residents increased 26% during Obama’s stay in the IL State Senate (Source: The Tax Foundation, Washington, D.C., taxfoundation.org).

And how did he help the citizens of IL pay for these taxes?

Obama’s IL Senate bill, #1324, 90th Assembly, raised the maximum allowed grant to aid property tax payers to $70.00…thanks for the help, B.O.

While the U.S. saw an increase in non-farm employment during the period 2000-2004, the same statistic for Illinois showed a decrease of over 5% (Source: US Census Bureau, State and County Quick Facts, Illinois, 2005).

It’s a scary thing; President Obama.
With a Congress controlled by Democrats.
Very scary, very sad.

We are entering a new era - all government, no personal responsibility.
End of many choices, government knows best.

We have Bill O’Reilly hedging his bets and being less effective for the conservative cause than Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage - all that bombastic egoism proven this campaign as being just that.

We have the professional media showing us that being a member of the professional media does not involve ethics, fairness, or insightful reporting - even media/journalism professors who contribute to the daily press have proven their spineless, yellow, and biased colors.

A double standard has now become the standard - hypocrisy reigns as the blind are led by the hypocrits.

Yes, we are currently dating a girl who is actually a dude.

The failure of today’s bail out bill in the House was just another step, carefully orchestrated by Democrats, to regain the White House at any cost.

Democrats could have passed this bill with just the votes of their own party, yet Nancy “I need a bigger plane” Pelosi was unable to lead her party and get them all one page.

Who did Pelosi blame? Republicans.

“We did our part,” Pelosi said, stating that because certain Republicans turned away, the bill was a failure. Only 60% of Democrats in the House joined Pelosi in voting “Aye.” But it was reportedly 12 Republicans who ought to feel ashamed, so says Pelosi, Barney Rubble…er, Barney Frank, and that Rahman noodle guy from Illinois.

Pelos’s leadership is a failure.

This is a set up. The House will now convene once again and Democrats overwhelmingly will support the bill. Then Pelosi and her small minded corrupt band of disengenous twits will hold a press conference and say something like this: “See, we Democrats have once again banded together to pass meaningful, emergency legislation to save America, its citizens, and its future.”

Katy “I’m more biased than I am cute” Couric will announce upcoming interviews with every Democratic member in the House.

They will turn this into a big Democratic party rescue while making McCain and the Republicans look like the bad guys and the party of inept politicians. That ought to help this Congress’s 12% approval rating and make Obama President.

Shameful, scary, and unbelievable. Give me a break.

Democrats have controlled both houses of the legislative making body since 2006 and what have they done concerning the problems they say ails this country? Nothing. Bush has done everything that ails this country, all by himself. Bush is so powerful he is able to do what he wants even with 2 branches of government controlled by the opposing party.

Chris “I used to live in Iowa” Dodd, Democrat, ruled over the committee that was responsible for oversight of the banking and financial industry…great job there, Chris. Perhaps it is because that industry has donated $18 million to Dodd’s coffers over the years. Dodd is a prime example that some people in America ought not be allowed to vote. Well he is from Connecticut, take a look at some of the elected officials that state has supported - current Hartford Mayor Ed Parez is another prime example.

Hitler once said that the common citizenry could not be trusted with the vote. Hmmm, just what our founders felt also.

Democrats have controlled all the committees responsible for housing, banking, education, health care, social security, and medicare, to name a few, yet all the problems in these areas are blamed on Bush. All those Democrats that you see giving press conferences over the past several days currently run one committee or another that is responsible for all the oversight, legislation, and regulation that Obama has been calling for during this crisis. Yet they blame Bush.

Jeez, with all the blame being placed on Bush you’d think he was a very popular President, has lots of political capital.

Give me a break.

Go back to November 2006 and check on Pelosi’s “100 days” plan for legislation that she said her party would be passing now that they are in control. Failure. Number one on the list was to bring the troops home from Iraq. They never said, ‘we will bring the troops home…if Bush will let us,” no, they said they will finally be telling Bush ‘NO!’

But that was just to get Democrats into office. Once there, they have set on their hands, pulling them out only to collect donations. It has been the plan, the grand scheme…at any cost.

Do these people have children? Or have they eaten them already.

Another member of this disengenuous group, Obama, spent the majority of his debate time with McCain blaming Bush for everything except Vietnam, which I’m sure he will get around to eventually.

McCain should remind Obama, and America, that Obama’s own party has had more control in what happens in this country than Bush has had since 2006. What have you done for America, Obama?

Obama loves to say that Bush’s spending on the Iraq war has put this country in deep doo-doo. What Obama does not tell you, and for which McCain’s handlers do not have the brains to him bring up, is that Obama and the Democratic controlled Congress have passed all the supplemental spending bills to fund Bush’s war. Obama has voted for 10…10…of them.

It’s been a set up since the Democrats failed in getting Algore or John “Can I git me a huntin’ license” Kerry elected. They finally found someone in their party that can send chills up Chris Matthew’s leg, rather than someone that gives you the sense of fingernails across a chalkboard.

Wake up America!

The party of inclusion, Democrats, the party that attempted to keep Florida and Michigan from having a voice at the Democratic National Convention, the party that would like to censure Joe Lieberman because he won’t play with them anymore, the party that stripped one delegate to the convention of her voting rights because she said she would not support Obama, Democrats, are playing a very dangerous, spoiled, pathetic game of politics at your expense.

Obama’s Deception Seen in Body Lanugage?
I’m not a psychology major; however I think I have the ability to read people - their body language, fairly well. Much of reading body language is, I feel, common sense and obvious.

Any contributions to this post by actual “experts” in this field would be appreciated…and would most likely confirm my hypothesis.

Anyhoo, when I watch an Obama interview or speech, I spot this annoying and obvious facial twitch that he employs so often - you cannot miss it unless you are a hardcore Obama supporter and just fail to see the obvious.

Obama talks out of the side of his mouth.

This isn’t a rhetorical, abstract comment; Obama actually moves his mouth up the left side of his face and talks out of the side of his mouth.

To me, this imparts deception, insincerity, and a lack of self-confidence in what he is saying.

Maybe I am full of crap, but then again, maybe not.

A recent Associated Press story underscores the lack of exprienced leadership Obama will be able to provide the country if elected.

In the story, Obama was asked about his plan for the worsening credit crisis.

Was his answer a sign of “hope” or “change?”

No, it was more political two-stepping.

Obama stated that “he’s not spelling our details of his own plans to avoid roiling the markets.”

Our man of yellow color continued; Obama said that “given the gravity of the situation, he will refrain for now from presenting a more detailed blueprint.”

In a severe situation, it is more details that are needed and less politicizing of the event.

Obama has no problem with attacking the administration over the crisis, while leaving out the role of Congress, who’s job it has been to provide oversight and regulation so these situations do not develop into crisis; a Congress ruled by Democrats and counts as one of their member, Obama.

Obama keeps saying, “the time is now,” well, the time is now for detailed plans from a man who says he can provide leadership and change.

He won’t show us that leadership or change, but he says he can provide it. Riiiiight.

Real leaders do not retreat behind politics and do not avoid tough choices. Obama retreats to develop an acceptable political message, to attack others, and to avoid showing his inexperience.

Give me a break.

Yes, hire me!

Since my party has been in control of Congress, we have turned this country around.

Like Nancy “I need a bigger plane” Pelosi promised following our taking control of Congress in 2006, we have brought our troops home from Iraq. Told ya!

I have passed a slew of bills that have dropped unemployment, brought oil prices under control, made sure every child has health insurance, and made sure that everyone, legal and illegal, is offered a college education. I’ve been able to do this because we, Democrats, of which I am one - the one, actually - have controlled, since 2006, the branches of government that write the laws and pass legislation. We’ve been awesome!

Our citizens no longer pay taxes…oil companies pick up the tab for everything. Next year, I will be adding Wal-Mart to that list because they make so much damn money also.

Yes, as a member of the controlling party of Congress since 2006, we have change politics and the way Washington operates…every Senator is now allowed to design their own presidential seal and I have introduced a new choice to Senate voting…we can now vote “Present” if we do not want to take a firm stand on an issue. It works great, I did it over 130 times in Illinois.

Yes, I’m a Democrat, and Democrats, therefore I - mostly I - have controlled Congress since 2006 and this country has been racing forward ever since via the bills and legislation that we…I have got passed.

Are you better off now than you were in 2006?

We know, in fact, we will tell you how to answer that - we’re Democrats…it’s what we do.

In “The Audacity of Hope” Obama has the audacity to slap himself on the back for passing a “slew” of bills which he claims reformed Illinois’ death penalty system and expanded health care coverage for children.

Despite the “slew” of bills he claims he passed, these are the only two examples he gives here; one laughable the other a lie.

As to death penalty reform, Obama did pass legislation in this area. His bill added to those who would be eligible for the death penalty.

Obama’s death penalty bill made it a capital offense, punishable by death, to shoot anyone within 500 feet of a church.

As to expanding health care coverage to children in Illinois, when Obama left the Illinois Senate for the US Senate, there were more uninsured children and adults in Illinois than before he became an Illinois State Senator.

Where’s the hope, Mr. Obama?

Yet Obama states that he “took satisfaction from the reforms and initiatives that my position afforded.”

So, was Obama satisfied with the dour condition of everyday life in Illinois or does he really mean that he was satisfied with the political connections, notoriety, and personal “initiatives” that he and Michelle and the brood were able to enjoy by his “slew” of Present votes?

It’s yellow and green.

Approximately 2 months before Obama formally announced his candidacy, Oprah had Obama on the Tom Cruise couch.
The discussion was heavy on his running for President.
Everyone was giddy with excitement.
Obama then announces and Oprah holds a big fundraising gala for him in California (that worked well…Obama loses California primary).

Having had many guests on her show dealing with women’s issues, it would only seem logical to bring on a woman who may make history, break the glass cieling as it were. No, not Hillary, Sarah Palin.

But nooooo.

Oprah is afraid that a visit by Palin to the Cruise couch would take votes away from her dog, her man, Obama.

This is Oprah, turning her show into the unprofessional, unethical organization that is the mass media.

Evidence: Oprah says that she would have Palin on “after the election.”

Laughable.

I hope Palin tells her, thanks but no thanks.
